So, the Explorer and the Ciphermaniac were original members of Heath’s team, the Ciphermaniac was the linguistic specialist, and the Explorer was the navigator. The Explorer became obsessed with the seemingly ancient Pokemon. The Ciphermaniac wanted to know more about the futuristic Pokemon. After the expedition, the Explorer bought a Scarlet Book, and the Ciphermaniac bought the Violet Book. They went back into the crater, and were lost to time.
