Telemica has a parliamentary still government were two factions with multiple parties fight for control of the senate. the factions are the conservative coalition which means to hold the statice quo of a large social safety net and many nationalized businesses like in the 1950s when Telemica was a SSR. the Progressive Coalition on the other hand are much more individualistic fighting for more privatized businesses and personal freedom. their are 54 sets in the Telemician senate most of which go to the populated cities while the rural plains are used by family of current senators as a start to their political career. the president acts as a judge keeping order during senate meeting and votes only when there is a tie (has not happened since 1987 after a three-day debate about whether wrestling or baseball should be the national sport) currant President Moewseph Basi, the Future Telemica party Progressive coalition. the Prime Minister is the actual head of state and is in charge of ratifying laws passed by the senate and represents Telemica on the national stage. currant PM Liegon Asrif, Free Telemica Party, Progressive coalition.
