With Gamera out of the picture, Zigra began terrorising fishermen and sailors, with one such incident happening off the coast of Florida, where Zigra attacked a small boat and just before he attacked he said "I am Zigra, ruler of the sea, and you humans are my prey." before he sank the boat, and killed the crew. Gamera was adapting to Zigra’s fighting style, and in time, he was ready for his rematch with Zigra. Gamer searched endlessly for Zigra, eventually reaching what was once Miami, Florida before the kaiju had attacked. Gamera went into the ocean and began swimming, looking for Zigra, and he found him. "Looking for a rematch? Well if you really want to have the same thing happen to you, then do it, but this time you will die." Zigra said, as arrogantly as he could, but Gamera didn’t care, and he rammed into Zigra, spilling blood. "Oh so you think, you can just come into my waters, and just attack me, LIKE THAT?!" Zigra yelled, before roaring at Gamera, who roared back, and tucked into his shell, and spun into Zigra at high speed, damaging the Kaiju’s underbelly, "THATS IT YOU OVERSIZED TURTLE! I’LL SHOW YOU MY TRUE MIGHT, YOU SHELLED RAT!" Zigra yelled angrily, but Gamera continued his attack ignoring Zigra’s words, Zigra roared and fired a thin red beam, at Gamera’s shell, which sent Gamera slightly back, but Gamera was moving at a high speed, and couldn’t be stopped, and he rammed into Zigra, and jumped out of the water, holding his opponent and they fell on land. Gamera expected Zigra to dry out and drown due to being on land, but the exact opposite happened, as Zigra’s back fins turned into legs, while his front fins turned into arms, and he gained an upright stance, and his height increased, and now he was slightly taller than Gamera. "Heh, Gamera you silly monster, I’m one of hell’s greatest hitmen. Did you really think because I look like a shark that I can’t be on land? FOOLISH GUARDIAN!" Zigra said with what looked like a smirk on his face, but Gamera wasn’t phased at all, and in fact he let out a fireball, but Zigra leaped over it, diving straight into Gamera and piercing through his shell, then Zigra fired his laser at Gamera. The guardian knew this would be an even harder fight than he thought, since Zigra could fight on land as well, but he had to power through, for the greater good. Gamera bit Zigra’s right arm and lifted him up before throwing him, Zigra roared and fired his laser again, but Gamera used a protective energy shield to block the attack. "Impossible." Zigra muttered, and although he would never admit it, he was now fearful of Gamera, who used Zigra’s disbelief to his advantage, and bit into Zigra’s torso, and after pulling for a few minutes, Zigra’s upper and lower body separated from each other, Zigra didn’t have a chance to say any last words, because now he was dead. Hell’s most feared hitman, ruler of the seas, and the monster who beat Gamera, was dead. Three down, Four more to go, however Gamera heard a voice say "Zigra, you were a great soldier and hitman. Your sacrifice will be remembered." Then a grey and metallic blue hand cam out from a portal and grabbed the two halves of Zigra and before the Gamera could react, the portal, the hand, Zigra’s halves were gone. Gamera however knew his next fights weren’t going to be easy, so he would have to adapt more.
