PROPOSAL by Karl the First for the future of the Empire. It's identity would be shared ideals, the Emperor, and political institutions. It's flag would be the flag of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty, and it's anthem would be "God Save Emperor Francis" There would be several Kingdoms (Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Severnslavia and Romania), each based on an ethnic group, even the German communities in Hungary are part of Austria. Austria is all the Germans. Severnslavia is Czechs, Slovaks, Poles, Ukrainians and Rusyns. Hungary is all the Magyars. Romania is all the Romanians and Italians (Roman languages). Yugoslavia is all the Slovenians, Croatians, Bosnians and Serbians. Each kingdom has semi-autonomy, but also bows down to the Imperial Parliament. It is a tricameral parliament, made up of the House of Commons, House of Lords and House of Kingdoms. The executive and judicial branches are both run by the Emperor. The Hungarian Army would be more offensive, relying on cavalry, shotguns, small artillery and sabres. The Romanian Army is defensive and relies on many smaller armies and elastic defenses. The Yugoslavian Army is defensive and relies on guerrilla warfare, ambushes and physiological warfare. The Severnslavian Army relies on mobility, decentralized command and combined-arms. The Austrian Army relies on centralized massive specialized armies. All of them are spread out through the Empire and assist each other in war. Hungary produces most of our food. Severnslavia produces most of our weapons and coal. Yugoslavia produces most of our raw goods. Romania produces raw materials and engineers/builders. Austria is the industrial heartland. All our industry, food and natural resources make us basically self-subsistent. Our 'capital' is Vienna due to it having basically all the ethnicities. :p
