"Children have nothing to stress over!" Oh really? How about when we are called failures for a grade that does not represent our humanity? How about when we fall in love with the wrong person or at the wrong time and get called needy, desperate, weird? How about when we are compared to others for factors we cannot control? How about when we told that speaking up and using our voice is talking back, disrespectful? How about when we dress comfortably, we are told we are 'asking for it' or it is 'inappropriate'? "Children have nothing to stress over!" No, nothing at all, Except the crushing weight of life we are forced to handle much too early.
