Today I spent time doing flatwork with Aurora. The reason for this is to make sure Aurora listens carefully to commands before riding. At the beginning, Aurora was a little distracted. We practiced leading, stopping, backing up, and walking in circles. After a while, she became calmer and started responding much better to my voice and body language. It felt really rewarding to see her improving as we worked together. Overall, the session went well and I was happy with how much we improved together!
