so y'all asked for my process so Im actually gonna post it for once! SPAM THE FLAG LIKE IT OWES YOU A NEW DRAWING TABLET Sketch: Just getting roughs down right now. Literally all I did was copy and paste one sketch of my character into 3 different positions. You could even do a second sketch with everything lain out like the body and stuff, but this is a simple map part so I didn't bother. Lineart: filling in parts where my sketch didn't go. I actually copy pasted the head in each of the frames and drew the body around it. Then I just used the liquify tool to squish and stretch it in logical ways. Color: literally just colored and added a background. not much. Final: I added in betweens by using the liquify tool to pull and push the frames in between the main 3 frames, to give a better illusion of movement. hope this helps! tell me if I should do more of these in the future!
