This is a spin on Oliver's version searchlight. The lore is different from his but the cycle part is the same. Willson worked for a company called Techdux which offered him a job to live on mars and build robots to mine ores. Willson has a bad heart condition and so accepts their offer. After he settles he makes version 1.0 which is lost soon lost goes to mine ores like his every day session. But the cave falls apart and traps him inside. He uses the last of his power to send a signal to Willson and slowly powers off in 8 months. A parasite crawls inside of 1.0 and reads his secret messages that 1.0 had made. "wHy did hE LEfT ME t0 ROT, HELLLO I NEED HELP, SO COLD I WANT TO FEEL THE WARMTH OF THE OUTSIDE. The parasite used these messages to build a personality off of 1.0's and detected 2.0 and waited to attack him, 2.0 unaware of 1.0 existence's mines into the cave and soon he was fighting 1.0. 2.0 pleads to 1.0 to consider mercy but 1.0 filled with rage and hate breaks 2.0 arm off. 2.0 trips into a deeper section of the cave and soon the parasite breaks out of 1.0's body and chases 2.0.
