This is my take on all of this *AI* stuff. Hey guys.... Honestly, I don't know where t begin. AI has always been a big thing while I've been growing up, but now, It's worse. It's been taking over almost every app, and scratch is one of the only places that I don't see it almost everywhere that I go. Now, I see projects and usage of chatbots and AI art in almost everything. It's like some sort of virus that's taking over everything. People are now leaving because of this, and now.... I don't even know. I am VERY uncomfortable with AI art. Deviantart, Tiktok, Youtube etc. etc. has been completely FILLED with AI art. It's not fair, especially to artists. AI art has been completely booming. People are buying it, encouraging it, and selling it. This is going to most likely ruin dreams of people who want to have a professional career as an artist. My dream is to become a cartoonist and sell my art, but I can't do that if people can't acknowledge that AI art isn't original. People have been using AI in their education, which is completely unrealistic. Teachers at my school are setting up classes and are just like "Ok, guys, just look it up. I'm setting up AI notebooks and stuff like that so just...". I know, completely INSANE. Teachers are using AI to teach their students even though THEY are the qualified teachers. Students in my classes are low key just like "Don't worry, I'll just look it up. AI will write my essay for me." Honestly, I don't get it. AI should NOT be a part of students' education. Ok thanks for listening to my rage-bait. I hope that the usage of AI will calm down, but we'll have to see for now.
