I’ve felt that this song personally relates to this guy (even if he’s fictional).. quite a lot, actually.. especially when I see myself in him - though I don’t think I’m necessarily ‘psychotic’.. nor do I believe he actually is, but just from the framing of how he’s ‘accused’ in the show, even by his own scientist dad, I’d say so.. I’ve also (I’ll claim this), felt like quite a Dib in a world that didn’t listen to me, either.. especially when it came down to things I needed. I’d say, the world definetly isn’t easy, especially for people still under 18, because the system - at least here, doesn’t make it fair for minors, etc. Even if I’ll eventually be 18 in early 2027, I still can’t even wait when I still have to receive ‘parental consent’ for things like horomone therapy when I’m a FTM guy waiting for T. Like, people 18+ can just sign up for the companies like Folx with no extra ‘permission slips’ or waiting, but yet - I’m still 17 xD but think already like a 25 year old lol.
