Chapter Twenty-five: Hospital Sneak-Out ZELDA'S POV: The plan was set. "We're gonna walk out of here and leave a note, ᴄʜɪᴇғ ʀᴏɢᴇʀs ʜᴀs ᴄʟᴇᴀʀᴇᴅ ᴢᴇʟᴅᴀ ʜʏʀᴜʟᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ʜᴀs ʙᴇᴇɴ ᴇxᴄᴜsᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ɢᴏ ʜᴏᴍᴇ. "Sounds legit!" Link smirked. I nodded and put it on the food tray so the nurses would see it. "Now...we wait," I sighed, hugging my knees. Link nodded and cleared his throat. "You sure your power is strong enough to take out your dad?" Link asked, a look of concern in his eyes. I smiled at his concern and nodded, "I'm strong enough to take him on, and I've got you." Link's expression softened and he nodded. "You've got me too!" Tideshifter smiled. I nodded, "We've got each other, we'll watch each other's backs." While we waited for nightfall we talked strategy and Link sharped his sword. The sunset and the regular check-in nurse checked my vitals. Once the nurse left we made our move. I'd learned from Hylia that her power can cloak appearances. "It'll work for about fifteen minutes. Everyone ready?" I asked. Link nodded and sheathed his sword. "Ready like a lumber-bee," Tideshifter whispered. "Lumber -bee?" Link whispered, as I put my hands into the shape of the triforce. The cloak formed and we moved quickly. We made it to the main entrance and I stopped. "We don't have a car," I whispered, "Well, that sucks," Tideshifter replied, as we made it the rest of the way out. "Well, I remember seeing the old school building to the west. Let's head there," I nodded to the others. "Alright! The final battle for the future begins," Tideshifter chuckled lightly.
