Giga is rlly sad abt this since she and Tera were once best friends when they were younger, going into the Royal Academy together, and doing almost everything together. Now, why do the townsfolk hate the Witch? It’s because the townsfolk believe that the Witch’s magic holds dangerous power and to prevent misuse of magic, they banned her from teaching it and exiled her to the forest. However, Princess Giga, who very dearly misses her friend, secretly visits the Witch every night to chat with her or help her with her tasks. During this time period, the Witch harbored an intense love for her best friend, slowly turning into an obsession she could never confess to, and i think she sings this song as a way to lament her woes.
