to get a square press the button that says cube to make it bigger hit the size up button and there is also a limit to how big you can make the square and if you hit the bevel button it makes it smoother and the mouse cursor button is to select your cube.
This is a remake of the modeling software Blender in scratch it is also in it's first versions so there might be some bugs in it to.
