Chapter Twenty-six: Him or the World? ZELDA'S POV: We stepped into the abandoned school and Link looked around. "Smells weird," he muttered as we began walking around. We made it into what would've been the cafeteria when a loud bang came from behind us. We turned around and my father stood in front of us. He smiled as he saw me. "Well, well, well, look who's here. Hey Little Bird," he smiled creepily. "We know what you want!" I announced, clenching my fist. "Oh, you do? Do tell me what you think you know!" he laughed, slowly beginning to circle us. "You want to return Hyrule to it's glory days, make the days of old in this time!" I replied, keeping eye contact with him. His smile slowly faded as he slowed to a stopped. He laughed and pulled out a sword. "It that all you're thinking dear princess?!" He asked, looking directing at me. I nodded, confused at the question. He sighed and said, "I don't only what to bring back the times of old, but the monsters of old. They will help me bring this kingdom to it's knees and into submission!" Link stepped in front of me. "You'll have to get through me first! I'm the protector of this realm and its royalty...its true royalty!" he yelled to my father. My father laughed and rushed at Link. Tideshifter grabbed my arm and whispered, "How do we really stop him? Link's fighting his off but not stopping him. Got any ideas?" I thought back to something said in my history class. "No that wouldn't work....Maybe I could, wipe his memory?! If I can do that, I have no clue." I muttered. "A-a little help Rockstar!" Link yelled. I turned and saw Link pinned against the wall, barely hanging on. I looked at Link, then at my hand, Hylia's voice echoed through my head, she was telling me something, "My power can do things you can't imagine, but when you save another, you will lose something precious." I knew what I was going to do to both of them. "I'm so, so sorry Blue-eyes," I whispered, tears escaping my eyes. "What are you gonna do?" Tideshifter asked. "Make my father forget everything he has planned, then put him in an insane asylum," I replied. "Oh, it'll be okay, he knows its for the best," Tideshifter sighed. I raised my hand and Link looked at me. "Bye Blue-eyes," I whispered, as he realized what I was about to do. The light exploded from my hand and Link blew me a kiss as it reached them.
