Hello and welcome to this Cyberpunk-ish Track! This took me around two weeks to make, with my main inspiration being Neo Bowser City from Mario Kart 7 (though mainly the Mario Kart 8 remix of the theme) and Toad's Turnpike. However, the results turned out to be nothing like either of the two themes, something that was, quite original to Webkart. Actually I would argue it doesn't really sound Cyberpunk at all now, but I still really like it. Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun creating the melody, with this actually being the first time I came up with a melody using the chord progressions of the song. Previously I would play out the melody on a keyboard or violin or whatever then transcribe it to my DAW. This is also a really major step as I started experimenting with filters and using Equalizers, which were a rather fun experience. This track could probably be called something like Neon City or Neon Webkart City or whatever but it probably is something late-night related. Ooh, "Neon Overdrive" or whatever that sounds great! Maybe it could be one of the final cup tracks, the Webkart main lietmotif really sells it for me though!
