001- Welcoming New Arrivals! ***************************************************************** I drove my trailer to the stables, where Indigo, my new puppy, ran over to me immediately and started barking. I gave Indigo a treat to quiet her down, and it worked... but then she decided to follow me and the foals around. The foals were actually surprisingly calm around Indigo, which I was very thankful for, so I took advantage of that calm moment to show them to their new stalls. The moment Indigo saw her food bowl, she rushed over to it and started gobbling her food down. I decided to put Blue, the Mustang foal in the stall next to Indigo's bed, since Indigo and Blue had already formed a very strong bond. While Indigo was distracted and, for once, NOT barking at the foals, I tried to get Phoenix, the Thoroughbred foal to her stall, which was a little hard- Phoenix was very curious about Indigo, and wanted to watch her eat... (um.) Eventually, though, I managed to get Phoenix to her stall, but since she was still whinnying as a complaint about not getting to see Indigo, I gave her a carrot slice. ***************************************************************** That... was a LONG update. :') Wait actually maybe not that long...
