The NEW Haxguy's opened in 1996, and was renamed "Haxy's Diner". Haxguy's name was shortened to Haxy because it took up less space and sounded friendlier. With this new chain of resturaunts, there were upgraded versions of the original animatronics, plus brand new characters. The place also served more than pizza as well, even having a BAR were stingman was located. Unfortunately, these new animatronics were VERY unstable. Every location had at least ONE malfunction in an animatronic or an incident happen. In one location, Echo suddenly had a seizure as his insides had melted due to overheating. But the one incident that ended it all was "The Crush of 2007". After that incident occured and made the news worldwide, every location was forced to shut it's doors imedietlly as the animatronics there in general could be a future saftey hazard. There are no more remaining "Haxy's Diner"s.
