“Want to take Orchid? Take me instead.” Wowzers, my first Dark Pokémon! NOTES: In the backstory, the night of the attack was probably the Dark Event. Since he is a trybrid, he needs to have a weakness, right? Sometimes, when he gets extremely angry, his muscles just stop, leaving him stuck there in his latest position for a while, like, at max 18 minutes. Another note is: you might be thinking he is Obscuring then. Well, not exactly. I’ll se if that’s allowed, but I was planning that the enchanted forest was a home for many many many Dark Pokémon and almost none that’s Light. With that in mind, possibly the Decidueye was a Dark Pokémon luring the Fomantis and Phalaenopsis and Orchid in. Maybe it was a disguise? What if the Decidueye was a Dark Pokémon? So both Phala and Orchid would have Dark reputation. What I don’t know is how did Orchid escape that shadow curse… CREDITS: Art, design, story by me PotHS by @Pikakit Music: Malie City (Night) from Pokémon: Sun and Moon
PHALA’S BACKSTORY (sorry if too long, I kind of… got excited): Phalaenopsis was a very, very, very kind and gentle hybrid between Meowscarada and Mega Hawlucha. That was odd though, since he thought that he was a Floragato. He acted like one. He looked like one. But the strangest thing of them all was that… his Decidueye side didn’t woke up yet. Phalaeopsis has some kind of brother — Orchid. He was found in the middle of a Fomantis group, that was just lying down and absorbing sun for a little. Actually, both Phalaenopsis and Orchid were found in this Fomantis group, so just lying on the sunny grass fields was, indeed, something very usual to them. But then, a Decidueye found them, while they were still very young, of course. And the Fomantis (that were extremely attached to Phalaenopsis and Orchid) decided to migrate and live next to where that Decidueye lived — a very beautiful and peaceful place, indeed. It seemed like some kind of enchanted forest, if you get what I mean. Anyways, Phalaenopsis and Orchid now lived between those two “parents”, and they were living a very cozy life. One day, some strange kind of Pokémon attacked their homes in the middle of the night, and they took Orchid away. Phalaenopsis knew — he had to find his little brother. He was desperate to find his family. The Fomantis group disappeared, and so did that mysterious Decidueye. He looked up, down, every possible place you could think of. But nothing was found. And that continued for five days, and at each hour that passed he felt more hopeless… until he found a dark and shadowy form carrying something towards the Cliff. Phalaenopsis thought: ‘I am going to follow this kind of creature. Maybe I’ll find something useful…’ but that was more than he thought that would happen. Phalaenopsis ran towards the creature and noticed — they were carrying the thing to throw down below. And the “thing” was actually Orchid!! Desperate, he attacked that kind of Dark Pokémon. And then, his kind of feather scarf (that was some kind of coat too) grew and became his famous cape. The Decidueye side of him had woke up!! Orchid slided down the slippery grass as soon as his elder brother chopped the rope that was being used to keep him stuck with a surprisingly strong Karate Chop. “Want to take Orchid? Take me instead.” Orchid was horrorized. However, he knew the only possible thing to do — run. And he did that, with tears in his eyes. Phalaenopsis, meanwhile, was facing that creature, that was a though opponent and really wanted the trybrid’s little brother. But he didn’t gave up, now that he discovered that he was an incredible arrow shooter. In the end, when both Pokémon were exhausted, some kind of shadow force took over Phalaenopsis’ brain, making him to give up with a huge headache. That was the dark Pokémon’s chance — they kidnapped that trybrid while he was fainting. When he woke up, in the Dark Realm, he could not remember how did he get there and who he was previously. But he knows two things somehow… there is one Pokémon he needs to find. He feels this in his heart. He also knows that his heart has a very deep connection with the Light Realm. And that sometimes makes Phalaenopsis extremely heart-warmed. (WOO! That was a good one. =D)
