If you are reading this, go and download all your projects and come back later. Especially the ones you spent days on. Now. Yeah, right now, this instant. Immediately. Or when you eventually return to them, you'll see nothing but these stupid glitchy grey question mark cubes, and there'll be nothing you can do to fix it. I've seen it ruin other projects too. And if it happens and you don't have a backup, all you can really do is try to replace the corrupted costumes and pray not too much of the project was corrupted. Scratch team needs to fix this glitch ASAP, or at the very least put a warning when this glitch happens so you don't accidentally save corrupted sprites and F[RICK] up your entire project
Before this glitch would only happen on really big projects because it struggled to load them, and it could be fixed by refreshing or just using Turbowarp. But now its become too powerful, and happens completely at random, no matter the project size, and not even Turbowarp fixes it. I was working on an RPG that I spent hours on, and after a while decided to work on it again, and when I came back to it, almost all the sprites look like this. I tried refreshing the page, I tried Turbowarp, nothing. The project wasn't even that big. And I didn't have a backup, so there goes my RPG, now I gotta start all over. Hours of hard work destroyed. Fantastic. If I were to use the correct vocabulary to fully express how I feel about this, I would be banned on the spot I'll say it again, don't wait, download all your projects RIGHT NOW
