It started with a small, budgeted team of 10 physicists and 45 engineers working out of an old airplane hangar. They weren't trying to build a weapon or warfare stuff. They were just trying to find a way, with a theory, that waste could be completely eliminated then converted into energy in a reactor. They then recruited 50 more members to the idea The team originally tried using a standard containment chamber. And managed to start a tiny vacuum-decay rip, but the extreme heat and raw energy instantly melted the titanium walls within three seconds. The 4, that was operating it at the time, barely escaped the hangar before the whole system fused into a solid block of rubble. Realizing walls couldn't touch the reactor, they invented a Magnetic thing that keeps things up in the air. This time, the core stayed floating, but the intense vibrations were so destructive, it shattered the hangar's concrete foundation. The core violently wobbled, dropped out of the magnetic field, and imploded, leaving a perfect 10-foot crater in the ground. The team lost half their men, morale, and almost quit. After years of setbacks, the team realized they needed absolute, rigid symmetry to fight the gravitational wobble. They designed the layout and spent two grueling years calibrating the Quantum Anchor Emitters to shoot perfect, hyper-dense cyan lasers. On a rainy Tuesday at 3:14 AM, after nine years of sleepless nights, empty coffee cups, and endless math corrections, they flipped the final switch on Prototype 04.The cyan lasers were activated and the beams shoot out. The blinding white flash lit up their tired faces through the blast glass. And then... absolute, dead silence. The reactor settled into its perfect, floating hover. It finally worked. They called themselves... The Threshold Crew: Named after their goal of crossing the "impossible threshold" of unlikely things. For safety reasons the reactor core can not be shut down.
The Vacuum-Decay Singularity Core (VDSC), is a zero-waste power generation system that achieves 100% efficiency by completely converting matter into pure energy. Unlike traditional reactors that split or fuse atoms, the VDSC uses 3 dense cyan stabilization lasers to suspend the containment sphere in a perfect quantum vacuum. Inside this sphere, a controlled space-time rift initiates a localized "vacuum decay," dissolving any introduced fuel directly into raw electricity, photons, and kinetic force with absolutely zero heat loss, ash, radiation, or environmental byproduct. I KNOW I NEGLECTED YOU REACTOR CORE FANS SO I TOOK A WEEK TO THINK AND MAKE THIS. I almost gave up.
