There is only one Coil Battler, there is only one Expo Battler. Coil and Expo were friends since they were extremely young, due to their fathers being partners in experimenting and science. They projected their interests into their sons. Coil and Expo went to every single of the same schools. Expo was a specialist in technology and building with metal, and Coil was interested in using minerals to create all sorts of items. Coil Battler was usually made fun of because of his impaired vision, not being able to wear glasses, and having to live with that vision. Expo was a good friend, he would help him on assignments, and stood up for him. Expo lost his parents when Expo and Coil were in 7th grade. He got to live to with Coil got the rest of his life. They grew up in the same home through adulthood in an apartment as best friends. Expo and Coil tried working on an invention with lots of work, making a full fledge time machine to travel possibly back in time to discover battler culture and historical monuments. Coil Battler had to take many breaks from stinging his hand on the unfinished creation, causing Expo to work on it alot. Coils vision also made it harder to fix up bits of the time machine. Coil Battler had seen some of the vandalizations and distracting of surroundings that Fusecoil and his gang have done. Coil would visit that area as it is known for having electric materials to help finish Fusecoil has tried fighting Coil, but Coil was a grown adult fighting a teenager, he managed to throw Fusecoil to the ground and steal one of his extra coils, making it out just in time. He used that coil to improve his weapon. Expo joined a war when he was an adult to gain battle experience to be a firearm expert. He didnt participate for long and knew he was going to die... So he quite literally snuck out of war to go back to his friend. Expo was a very respected member of the military, and the other members of the military were disappointed that he left. They really wanted to be his friend. Operator and Jetrock missed him the most. Soon, the time machine was finally completed, but there were some small, slightly irrelevant issues with the machinery. Coil was the one who investigated it, taking some notes about how it looked. The machine malfunctioned, and this caused Coil to fall into the contraption. Expo tried to save his friend but it was too late, Coil had travelled through time. Coil woke up at a time in an alternate future where Fusecoil took rule of the entire battler world, appearing as an angel whos eyes glowed white, a world covered in waterfalls and flying islands. He managed to find a distorted palace, as the world was already filled with odd citizens who served under the god 'Soulfuse' someone they have never known about. This seems to be an alternate universe that could have happened... Soulfuse was ruling, and felt the oddity of someone who wasn't under his control, or a zombie. Coil tried to plead for his safety, they tried to attack him but he managed to escape. He ended up living in a small abandoned pavilion on a small island. He managed to sneak in many times to steal items and get materials to make a weapon, he was a fan of fizzy soda, so made a weapon that could use it. He then took the name of 'Rail Battler' using a high powered rail cannon to fight instead of his other small gun, he practiced it on some of the odd tumored zombies that roamed the outskirts of Soulfuses palace. Expo Battler did not leave this alone. He spent five whole years in that room trying to fix the machine and help him, as it broke after the travel. He had to survive off eating at the wood in the room, and slept on the ground. He barely ever left to get food or supplies because he was paranoid about the machine breaking. Expo battler cleaned his skin with wet rags because the place deteriorated of water from using it to fix up the time machine. He went out twice a month to get foot and supplies, and had to steal. He became paranoid of everything, threatening anyone who dared get near the apartment. He managed to build himself a weapon, one that could increase its fire the longer he shoots it. Unfortunately it broke, and only needed some high-technology items to fix it up. He gave up, using the broken scraps on the time machine. Rail had been trapped in that timeline for a long time, planning an escape by killing Soulfuse and travelling out to prevent the outcome. After he used the scrap of his broken weapon on the time machine, it ended up fixing it! He jumped in right away, willing to do anything to save his friend. He was greeted in an area closer to Soulfuses castle. He entered the palace with no weapon to fight back, Soulfuse noted that he looked similar to the other 'traitor' in that area, so Soulfuse ended up trying tp kill Expo. He ended up permanently scarring his eye. He wasn't able to fight back without his gun, and ended up getting thrown in prison after he was badly beat.
