Rain-Whisper ✦ I'm an avid reader and writer and obsessed with roleplaying plot driven characters. Every interaction is an opportunity for my cats to learn lessons and build beliefs. ✦ I'm on scratch daily! Gens has become my main roleplay overall but I'm still an active member of TFCRP planning on rejoining TSS ✦ Two Fish! ✦ cisgender, she/her✦ straight ✦ (+)Curious, Sweet, Generous, perseverant (=) Aloof, innocent/naive, means well but can be over demanding, direct (-) clumsy, risk-averse, vain, startles easily ✦ in notes and credits ✦ I've had Frost (mc warden), Umbrathorn (mc warrior) i was still figuring gens exp gathering with them and wasn't as active. Lemonhug has A Lot of lore and recently got oofed by wolf. But he got adopted alongside his childhood friends by Maplestar, who also mentored him and named him Lemonhug after her own warrior name. He defeated a wolf before, but due to the second safety fail wasn't as lucky.
Research: Deafness in cats is either congenital (present at birth) or acquired later in life due to aging, infections, or trauma. While untreatable in most cases, deaf cats adapt remarkably well by relying on their heightened senses of sight and vibration. Genetic (Congenital): Strongly linked to the gene responsible for white coats and blue eyes. Approximately 65% to 85% of all-white cats with both eyes blue are born deaf. Acquired Issues: Chronic, untreated ear infections, ear mites, polyps, tumors, or exposure to loud noises can cause irreversible damage to the eardrum or inner ear. Her life will have her twolegs keep her strictly indoors since deaf cats cannot hear oncoming cars, roaming dogs, or other outdoor dangers. She'll navigate using visual cues and vibrations. And communication she doesn't speak, and would be mute ((lemme know if i need to research muteness too)) but she'll flick her tail and use her paws and be very direct with what she wants. mutism research: Mutism is the inability to speak. Depending on the cause, it can be a temporary state or a long-term disorder. There are two primary categories: Selective Mutism (a psychological condition) and Organic Mutism (caused by physical or neurological factors). There are two types: selective and organic. Two Fish's would be organic, due to how people learn to speak by hearing others and mimicking those sounds. Without the ability to hear speech, a person cannot naturally learn how to modulate their voice, form words, or practice spoken language. So in a battle cats roleplay with talking cats, she physically would have no knowledge on speaking. lifestyle: while she won't be able to speak to fellow felines, she will be able to meow, it'll just feel like a vibration to her that she realizes gains attention, but she had no idea how loud she is being. (since she can't hear herself)
