Hey guys. It's been a while. I realize I sort of just up and left CCRP without telling anyone, and just left my duties as map admin. I do want to apologize for any difficulty that created. I've spoken to a few people from CCRP since, and because I'm not sure how much they've said, I'll be the one to say it. I've left CCRP, after five years of being a part. It's not my first time leaving CCRP, but it will be my last. I want to say just how much I've enjoyed being a part of this and how much it's meant to me to be a part of it. I'll occasionally check scratch, but for the vast part, I've moved on. So, what have I been up to, instead of CCRP, you may ask? Well, I recently graduated Highschool and will be going off to college in the fall to study Computer Science. I'm also working an internship this summer doing some space research. In the free time between the end of school and the beginning of work, though, I've been hammering away on my CCRP VII-based grand strategy game, which I'm calling Country Clash Strategy. As mentioned previously, it's being made in Unity. Recent additions have been changes to how the map is displayed, and I now show all the province borders and great distinguish the continents from the oceans. I've also added colonization as a work-in-progress feature, as well as exploration. I've also put a lot of work into how the AI works for the NPC nations, and wars are actually a thing, allowing you to go after your conquests, just like in the roleplay. Bugs continue to abound, and there's many features left to add, but the game is rapidly approaching at least a somewhat playable state. Best of luck with CCRP and I'll check in occasionally to see how it's going!
About 50,000 lines of code now btw. And yes, more nations than just Velstranor are playable, I just like to test with that one lol
