To the surprise of many, the Techno-Syndicalist Faction of the Kuomintang has won the 2416 Elections by a close margin of 320,000 votes. The now President-Elect Kung Feng (descendant of Confucius) will be entering office in less than a week. Kung Feng was born on 7th May 2387 in Jinan, Shandong Province. He studied engineering at Qingdao University and got a master’s degree. During his time at university, he worked many laborious jobs like construction. During that time, he saw the suffering of the common worker and their outrageously low wages due to lack of government regulation. He also got into politics during his time in university, establishing a Youtube Channel discussing many controversial topics and people. He read the works of Primo De Rivera and Pope Leo XIII, becoming a follower of Syndicalist and Corporatist economic theory. He joined the Kuomintang at 21 and became the mayor of Jinan. He made many friends within the Kuomintang especially among the Left wing of the Party. In September of 2415, Kung declared that he would contend in the Kuomintang primaries. He won by a landslide of 57.3% in the primaries. During his campaign, Kung would get on many podcasts and even appear on holograms. Kung would also do a tour of the nation, interviewing workers and farmers, skyrocketing his popularity. On the night of the election, he successfully won over the majority of North China as well as gaining a minority in Southeastern China. Due to his Nationalistic and Syndicalist tendencies, he won over the majority of Kuomintang and Socialist voters. There shall be many challenges for the young 29 year old, but he and China shall ultimately prevail against the wind and storm.
