- in the first 3 years of having ur period, irregularity is totally normal ! dw if u get it once a month or multiple times a month - everyone has a different flow, some girls will have their period for 3-5 days and other for 7 - pads and tampons are both great, choose what’s best for YOU - make a period kit; feminine wipes, pads/tampons, extra pair of undergarments/clothes, liners and maybe a packet of dark chocolate:) - drink water, and avoid it being cold/straight from the tap - avoid cold foods in general - change ur pad/tampon after 4 hours MAX, even if it’s not full, bacteria can build up, it can cause rash or it can smell - if the teacher won’t let u go to the restroom, just go, trust me - use period tracker apps
