[ • highrank guide • ] ☛ what are highranks? ☛ demotion • • • ☛ leaders ☛ healers ☛ deputies [ • what are highranks? • ] Highranks are, as the name suggests, more than just standard warriors. Leaders, Deputies and healers & their apprentices, but also all special ranks if they happen to come up one day all count as highranks. The people roleplaying highranks must be willing to roleplay and responsible of their given tasks. As a highrank, you are asked to commit into your role. [ • demotion • ] Demotion is not to be, under any circumstances, meant to be an easy loophole to become leader to deputies. To demote a leader, that leader has to have at least one strike or a large part of roleplayers genuinely unhappy with their leadership. As deputy of that clan, you may either start a vote during the gathering or rebel, however, a vote must have 70% of all adult highranks agreeing with you IRP to settle the demote. Strike demotion, on the other hand, is basically the punishment for when you are not doing your tasks consistently, correctly or in the worst case, not at all. Leaders, deputies and full healers will be demoted after three strikes, which will be given basically if I have to do your work for you, be it pings, putting in effort for name options, ceremonies, etc etc. Demotion may also occur if many people grow unsatisfied and unhappy of you. I will, however, check the situation before just demoting someone. [ • leaders • ] Leaders must be capable of doing ceremonies weekly and on schedule, making sure punishments are being executed, etc. - 4b, rules A leaders job is it to care for their clan. This especially includes ceremonies being written into detail, though you can reuse them. Ceremonies must take place on Sunday, and if you find yourself unable to, you are asked to communicate with your deputy to see if they can substitute for you. Please do not assign (dz) marked cats to be mentor if not absolutely necessary! These cats haven’t been active in the span of 2+ weeks, and apprentices should be assured an active mentor. The max limit for a cat to mentor at a time is two apprentices, but keep in mind that one is much more preferred, as everyone should get a chance at mentoring. Cats graduating to warriorhood will be given five suffix options on Saturday/friday. If someone doesn’t respond until the ceremonies, you are free to pick their suffix by yourself, but note that this is going to be someone‘s precious character‘s name while doing so. You also will be assigning a deputy, which must be completed in the ceremony after the slot went empty. The cat chosen should be one that yours would realistically pick, with a roleplayer behind them that is capeable of taking on the responsibilities that come with such a high position. As a leader, you will be able to set a law; normal warrior cats rules must always abide (no cross clan relationships, no harming your kin, no healer relationships, kits must be 6+ moons to graduate, apprentices 12 at minimum). Contact me if you’d like to set/edit your law, but please think beforehand, since I won’t be allowing updates happening too often. Punishment is in your hands, though it has some basic rules. You may not let cats breaking your/ the base law get away without facing any kind of repercussions. All punishments given out should remain reasonable, and you cannot execute a cat for first-time crimes, plus they should be warned in time to be able to avoid execution. The max for being confined to camp is two irl weeks, the for ceremony delay lies at 2 moons. On Saturday to early Sunday, you‘ll be given all information needed for ceremonies, while you’ll receive a list 6 moon olds on Friday to pick out their mentors; please give a quick ping after the ceremonies are out so the storage can be updated asap ^^ Task summary - ceremonies, setting up a ceremony project, setting your clan‘s law, choosing a deputy, appointing mentors, appointing punishment. [ • healers • ] In the case of an illness outbreak, you must complete healing rps. Being a healer can be a hard job, and I do not want people to loose their precious characters because the medic was too lazy to rp. Negligence will lead to being demoted, so be warned. - 4a, rules As a healer, you must be willing to roleplay with the cats you heal. It is advised to also ask the sick cats‘ rpers during an illness outbreak to roleplay with you and inform them of the fact that that their cat’s survival chances are significantly higher if they do. - cont in n + c -
- cont - Healers must have trained an apprentice before reaching 40 moons, leaving, stepping down at free will or being killed off. It is a term that you accept when becoming a full healer, and there’s a high chance that you’ll never be able to own a highrank again if that term isn’t fulfilled. A self-picked apprentice should not be meeting your cat the first time after they graduate. Pick a cat your character realistically would, and ensure that there’s a roleplayer behind them that is capable of taking over the responsibility coming with the role. Your pick should be reported to your leader and @redbasil before saturday, so pings can be send out accordingly. Please please please just autoreject anyone begging or asking oorp / very directly irp. There’s no need to tell them, but report the situation to me (@redbasil) in older profile comments. This technically also applies for leaders, but healers go through these things way more often. Guilt tripping healers is also not okay and will not be tolerated; report to me at same. In addition, you may sometimes be offered an apprentice if their roleplayer is responsible, active, available, etc etc. Whilst you can totally decline, I do briefly remind you that healers are essential and very much a necessity, therefore every clan should have a few of them by default. Task summary - training an apprentice to full in time, roleplaying with injured/ sick cats, roleplaying actively, (giving your choice of apprentice to the leader before Saturday). [ • deputies • ] As a deputy, you are not only supporting your very leader, but you also have to take on your deputy tasks. - 4b, rules A deputy may not be a full leader yet, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have any tasks. You not only have to be ready to jump in for your leader for ceremonies, but also report any happening crimes to your leader. The overall job of a deputy is to actually interact with your clan, acting as a bridge between it and your leader. You’re asked to complete this job consistently, as it’s very important to have an active deputy to each clan. Deputy demotion will be treated less lenient, and if you are unable to support your leader and work in the favor of your clanmates, expect a demotion. It will probably also be instant for freshly promoted deputies, and I will be more likely to look over something if you’ve already done your job responsibly for a decent while. Task summary - reporting crimes, keeping a connection between leader and clan, standing in the favor of the clan, (bonus if you do other usual deputy things).
