What is this and how does it work? 2. Rules 3. Some stuff I’m looking for 4. Prizes! 1. What is this and how does it work? So this is a DTIYS which is an art competition where I show you a piece of artwork (a reference) and you try to redraw it in your art style. How it works is that you remix this and get a prize if you get in 3rd to 1st place! 2. The rules: - no stealing other people’s art - no ai art - don’t get mad if you do not win - has to be your own art - try not to change the pose too much but you can change the facial expression - remix this! 3. What I’m looking for: - shading - rendering - expression of your art style (example : can’t be almost identical to my art style, express yourself! Aka just draw it how you regularly draw your art or smth like that) - you can add maybe 1-2 accessories to the art you made of my character if you want! 4. Prizes! Ok so the prizes are for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place only. I will make a scratch project announcing the top 3. Prizes: 1st place: A full drawing or pfp (I will let you choose if you want both or just one) of your oc / icon (it will be not be extremely intricate so basically a quality level of art like the reference photo with a nice background) and a shoutout 2nd place: A simple but somewhat detailed pfp 3rd place: A drawing of your oc / icon (pretty simple and a solid colored background)
I hope you guys have fun with this! I haven’t decided on the deadline yet, it is based off how fast the entries come in. There has to be at least 5 entries in order for me to decide the prize winners and stuff. (Btw the thingy on her arm is like an arm warmer thingy tbh idk why I put it….)
