The Chapter’s unyielding citadels are forged directly into the core of colossal, planet-spanning factory hubs, where rivers of molten silicon and toxic smog create a permanently hostile atmosphere. In this brutal ecosystem, recruits are harvested from the hyper-violent gang wars of the under-hives and the blistering heat of the foundry floors, ensuring that every initiate possesses a natural resistance to extreme temperatures. This unrelenting industrial wasteland acts as a primary testing ground, allowing the Volkite Fists to constantly calibrate their destructive thermal weaponry while maintaining an impenetrable, fortified grip on one of the Imperium's vital manufacturing hubs.
