akdjflaksjdflas this is two days late, sorry y'all!! but. . . happy. freaking. pride month!! i'm very excited, since i've grown so much since last year's pride. i am now openly using they/them pronouns (which aren't my exact preferred pronouns, but it's a start) and have really fallen into acceptance with myself. last year, i did attend a pride in my town, and i had a lot of fun, and plan to do the same this year! (my pride parade is on june 29th i believe, and i will be inactive that day due to that) like the neurodiversity awareness month project i posted recently, this is a space to share my experiences, but also a q 'n' a! feel free to ask any questions you may have concerning pride month below. my experiences are actually pretty relevant, due to recent gender/sexuality/romantic orientation revelations. (for anyone wondering, they are revelations in my autistic brain who needs to label them formally or else they don't really matter) as many of you know, i have identified as sonnegender, and currently do. for me, it means my gender fluctuates in relation to the sun. as of now, i feel more agender when the sun is visible, and more masculine when the sun is not visible due to a storm or it being dark, etc. additionally, however, i have realized that sonnegender only describes part of my gender. some people use "sonne" as a prefix, such as sonneboy or sonnegirl. for me, neither of those feel right. i've heard the term boyflux before, and decided to google it, wondering if it applied to me. however, i realized that i never felt fully masculine- ever, as i was reading the article. i was bored, and looked at the related terms. that's when i saw the label. demiboyflux is basically boyflux, though the closest you are to masculinity is a demiboy- the gender i feel when the sun is not visible. the furthest? agender. so i'm sure you can see where this is going, and i think sonnegender and demiboyflux are probably the terms that fit me until i have another revelation. if you want me to do something daily for pride month, i'd be happy to, though i am currently in a creator's block thing until school ends.
