The yuri I wrote, scriptless, in the comments section of @ScratchCat 's happy pride month project HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 1 | [Homophobe] was chilling with her bestie [homophobe]. It was the first day of June. That meant "those" people stole their attention again, an entire month long. [Homophobe] sighed. She was so sick of not being the center of attention. She looked over at her bestie, who was yelling at the queers. A smile appeared on [homophobe's] face. She had never seen [homophobe] so passionately screaming at some kids. Suddenly, [homophobe] pictured her and [homophobe] kissing. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 2 | Wait, whAT?!? [Homophobe] dropped her phone out of fear. This was not good. Why did she think that?!? [Homophobe] was her best friend! [Homophobe] was... a.. GIRL. Disgusted by her thoughts, [homophobe] ran away to the closest restroom to lock herself on the toilet. She cried. She laughed. She panicked. All she could think of was how SINFUL her thoughts had been. Yes, she must be sick, she decided. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 3 | [homophobe decided to text her parents to get her out of school. She was "sick" after all. But just when she wanted to unlock her phone, she heard footsteps nearby. Oh no... [homophobe] was looking for her! "[Homophobe]? Are you alright? You ran off out of nowhere." Said [homophobe] through the door of the toilet stall. "YES I'M FINE GIRLIE I'M JUST PEEING AAHAHAHAHAHAHA" panicked [homophobe]. [Homophobe] noticed her lie. Something was off about [homophobe]. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 4 | [Homophobe] didn't understand what could be wrong with [homophobe] though. They've always been really close, it was nothing like her to run off without saying something. Suddenly, [homophobe] thought to know what was up! "Was it what I said to those kids? Was I too mean? I thought you thought the same about those gays." She asked. [Homophobe] reacted, muffled. "No, no that is just what they deserve. What I deserve." She sobbed. Darn. She realized too late what she'd said. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 5 | "[Homophobe]?!? What do you mean?!?" [Homophobe] gasped. "Are you like... are you a... one of them?" She couldn't progress what her bestie had just said. No. Nononono. That would mean that they could not be friends anymore! It would be too awkward! And ITS AGAINST HER BELIEFS! She almost forgot that last part. [Homophobe] sighed, and decided to tell her what she'd just found out. "Yes, [homophobe], I- I think I might be... homosexual." HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 6 | "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" [Homophobe's] shrill, terrified scream echoed through the entire school. For a second, all the background talking noise stopped. Then it all continued normally. Like nothing had happened. In the end, [homophobe] left. Her all time best friend being gay was... a lot to progress. It couldn't be possible, could it? It was time to go to her boring class now, and contemplate her life and decisions. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 7 | "How could she- like, how? There's no way! She hates the gays!", thought [homophobe] to herself. Her other friends noticed [homophobe] was sunken in her thoughts, and joked around a bit, but of course [homophobe] did not notice. Since when, could she have been that way? When had the gay infected her bestie? Suddenly, her thoughts took her back to the sleepover... [homophobe] gulped. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 8 | 2 years ago | it had been [homophobe's] birthday, and [homophobe] had been invited to her sleepover. It was all fun and games, until... they were gonna watch a movie. Only, [homophobe] had eaten so much candy that suddenly her excess of energy disappeared and she fell asleep, against [homophobe's] shoulder. | (ik this one sounds ambiguous, the homophobe thinking this is the one the other one fell asleep against) HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 9 | [homophobe] freaked out and yelled, and woke [homophobe] back up. She blushed and apologized. She had blushed a lot. Surely this must've been when...? But then, [homophobe thought about her OWN reaction. Why'd she freak out? [Homophobe] was her bestie, and that wasn't anything weird right, for besties? Right? Then why'd she find it so terrifying and confronting? Oh no... [homophobe] stared straight in front of her, her eyes almost popping out of her face. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 10 | [Homophobe]... was, in fact, also gay. She couldn't stand it either and fled to the restroom, just like [homophobe) had done when realizing. [Homophobe started restlessly pacing around in the toilet stall that was actually way too small for that, so she quit the stall, went to put on some more makeup because she always did that when she was stressed, but then someone else came in and [homophobe] quickly locked herself back in the stall. [Continued in N&C]
HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 11 | "[Homophobe]? Is that you?" She heard the very familiar voice of [homophobe] say. [Homophobe] froze. What could she say? She decided just to throw it out. "I'm so sorry homophobe, I didn't know how it was like but now I do! And I know you would never want to be gay willingly ew, but now I know I'm also gay I think I understand. We need to go to conversion therapy, together!" HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 12 | WHAT?!?! [Homophobe] couldn't believe it. Her bestie was... ALSO, a homosexual individual? That was simply impossible! After a while of thinking what to react, she simply said, "yes, we need to pray the gay away twin!" And so they both went to conversion therapy, it was really awkward by the way. When they got there the therapist guy said exactly everything they'd been thinking of themselves already. It was useless. The gay was still there. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 13 | "Well, that sucked. I guess I'm still gay, what about you?" [Homophobe] said to [homophobe]. "Yeah probably. Frick that guy." [Homophobe] sighed. "What if... what if there is no cure? What if... we are gay? And we'll always be? Could we still be friends?" [Homophobe] bursted out in tears. "I don't wanna lose you! I love you!" They both froze. "Like... you mean, like, platonically, right?" [Homophobe] panicked. "Right?!?" HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 14 | "RIGHT?!? [HOMOPHOBE], TELL ME I'M RIGHT!!!" cried [homophobe]. "I- I DON'T KNOW OKAY?!?" [Homophobe] blurted out. "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM ANYMORE!" She sobbed even louder. [Homophobe] didn't know what to say. She didn't want to lose her bestie. She wished being gay wouldn't be such a problem to society. No, wait. She had to wish she was not gay! "I..." she said, finally. "Me neither. I don't know who *I* am, I mean. But, maybe we could try to find out, together?" HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 15 | both homophobes locked eyes. "Yeah, I guess. I'd like that. Thank you." Said [homophobe] to [homophobe]. And then they kissed. [Homophobe didn't expect it at first, and almost pulled away, but then realized this was exactly what she'd been missing her entire life. When they were done, they both awkwardly stared at the ground. "I- SORRY I DID NOT MEAN TO DO THAT!" yelled [homophobe]. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 16 | "I- WAIT, [HOMOPHOBE]!!!" [Homophobe] screamed at her bestie(?), who decided to run from her feelings. "[HOMOPHOBE], COME BACK! I NEED YOU! I- I LOVE YOU! NOT PLATONIC! I REALLY, LOVE YOU!" she yelled through the streets of the city, running after her one and only true love, not caring about what others might think anymore. Out of breath, she finally caught up with [homophobe], who had heard her exclamation. HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 17 | "You.. you love me?!?" Said [homophobe], confused. "Yes I do, and I don't care anymore! We'd both been terrible people, I know. But we can change, [homophobe]. I don't know anything about what I'm feeling, but I really want to give it a chance. [Homophobe], would you be my girlfriend?" [Homophobe] asked, desperately. [Homophobe] stood there for a moment, before answering "yes! [Homophobe], I think I love you, too!" HOMOPHOBE YURI PART 18 | They both stared at eachother, and then burst out laughing. They now officially were girlfriends. Both [homophobes] had extreme guilt for their actions and started being super awesome fighters for queer rights and made up with everyone they once bullied. And they did, in fact, love eachother. Nothing could ever change that. The end.
