I've been spending tons of time with Cosmos, and I've been learning tons about the species, so here is the care guide! ━━━━━ Table of contents ▸ Diet ▸ Cleaning ▸ Enrichment ▸ Sleep ━━ ⟦ Diet ⟧ I've been observing Cosmos, and another Moon dancer that I'm taking care of until I can find another owner. They seem to be omnivores, but they eat more plants than meat. They're also very slow eaters. Here is what they generally eat: ▸Fruits, especially more water-based fruits or stone fruits ▸Nuts, especially hazelnuts, pinenuts, and acorns ▸Bacon! You'd be surprised! ▸Fish! Fish is one of the main parts of the Moon dancers' diets! Though I have trouble giving it to Cosmos because I am allergic ▸I have tried to give Moon dancers sweets, but they seem to like them, and I'm guessing they'd get sick from sweets. ━━ ⟦ Cleaning ⟧ Moon dancers seem to be unnecessary! Moon dancers groom themselves very often, so baths are unnecessary. They also like scratching, so nail clipping is also not needed. Moon dancers cannot swim, so I'd be careful about that. ━━ ⟦ Enrichment ⟧ I've definitely gotten a good snapshot of what Moon Dancers are like. They don't have a lot of energy, and they seem to enjoy reading, drawing, and just spending time near their owners. Cosmos is super clingy, but not all Moon Dancers are. ━━ ⟦ Sleep ⟧ Moon dancers are nocturnal and come out when the stars and moon shine. During the day, they may wake up for 15 minutes to stretch or drink, but they'll generally be asleep most of the day. During the winter, when it's dark earlier, Moon Dancers will wake up earlier. ━━ Thank you for reading the care guide!!! If your a owner of a Moon Dancer and have extra questions, don't be afraid to ask!
