Hello, and welcome to our “Museum Monthly” for June 2026! There's not much to discuss this month, and we're still waiting on the same aircraft discussed last month. Ontario: A-10C 76-0521 - Davis-Monthan AFB - Restoration to Static Display F-16C 83-1162 - Davis Monthan AFB - Restoration to Static Display EA-6B 158804 - Restoration to Static Display Chino: SNJ-4 10238 - Private Collection - Airworthy (will be used as trainer aircraft for future pilots) (Texan arriving hopefully this week, still awaiting the military stuff) Aircraft Updates Our F-4s will be repainted to freshen up their colors. We're starting with our F-4J, then we'll move onto the F-4D. New Displays, Activities, and Exhibits Every weekend at Ontario, we’ll be running the engines on our F7F and doing a brief taxi demo around the museum campus. We’re beginning to add grass to the area surrounding the Grumman Hangar. We also intend to have the lobby finished this month so visitors can get a sneak peek of the hangar. We’re looking into building a new activity room in the Ontario Military hangar, adjacent to our lobby. We’re going to call it the Flight Lab, where visitors can participate in multiple activities held throughout the day! One of these activities will be an RC plane building activity, where kids will be given guided instructions to build an RC plane that they can buy in the gift shop! Restorations Ontario The B-52 will be temporarily on display in the Airliner hangar so we can do some work on the 747SP. We don’t expect its engines to arrive until later in the month, so we’re attaching the rudder and elevators to the 747SP while we wait. Chino We're also preparing to begin some work on our F-11! We intend to restore its cockpit first, and decide if we want it as a static display with an accessible cockpit, or if we want to make the effort to get it in the air again.
