What is up my dudes? Okay in all seriousness, it has been a hot minute. I wanted to jump on since it is finally summer and update on the writing project I had shared in my last post, because a lot has changed. And I have changed a bunch too, considering I have not updated anyone in the past couple of months. So I have been doing pretty decently, but life has been an avalanche. I have constantly had no plans, and as much as I hate saying it, I’m slowly growing out of scratch. I don’t want to say goodbye because I have been using it for over almost five years now and I would still love to update every couple of months. Until that time that I say goodbye, though, I would love to connect with a lot of you guys elsewhere and update here every now and then! If you want my pin or tt, just let me know! Anyway, let’s talk about my project. When I last updated, it was a fantasy that was expected. The same easy going plot that was enemies to lovers between a poor peasant and the heir to the throne. I threw that idea out the window because it was something that was unoriginal that I wouldn’t enjoy writing and others wouldn’t enjoy reading. As much as I love the storyline I have developed for it, I have decided to push it back slightly and prioritize other projects as I continue to plan this one. So, the new one that I am bringing into the light is basically something I have done in the past. I had a falling out with my closest friend very recently, leaving me with an unfinished project. Because of the lack of communication she is willing to cooperate with, I am continuing the project on my own. It is a romance, but because it is now left in my hands, I would like to make it into something more. I don’t just want a lovey I’ve-heard-it-all-before romance that no one can relate too. I want symbolism and readers to be connected to these characters. Now I have a lot more choice on where things can go on my end, which I am incredibly grateful for, despite the events that took place for this to happen.
