After a lot of deliberation, I've decided to change the name of ORAS as a project to Hollow Moon. I've also changed the names of the following characters to better align with Kialian phonography: Onatryx --> Onatirys, Nikyr --> Naikir, Charlie --> Chasa, Reah'Kiali --> Reia'Kiali I've decided to keep the spelling of Finn and Armedias even though it breaks the phonography (Finn should be Fynn and Armedias should be Armidias or Arymidias), so I'll just say that saying them in English changes their spelling ig I'm lazy so the name changes won't be very thorough but whatever. Also, I'm working on an "All About Hollow Moon" project! Don't expect it anytime soon, but it's coming along :P Characters: Chasa (redesign/character overhaul of Charlie) Nostrelya (new!)
Why did I change ORAS to Hollow Moon? ORAS has a pretty shallow meaning, only refering to the energy/magic/realm system as it exists. It kind of had more meaning in the past but that's kind of drifted away now, as I've focused less on that aspect of it. Also, there are wayyyyyy too many awful ya romantasy novels with the name format "A [thing] of [thing] and [thing]" and I don't want to fall into that. In contrast, Hollow Moon has a TON of symbolism and meaning and I feel it much better captures the overarching themes of the project. Also it's a Crane Wives reference! While I'm still quite attached to the name ORAS, I think this will be better in the long run.
