Welcome to GS-DOS, otherwise known as Gavinsoft Disk Operating System! Here you will find an interface very similar to MS-DOS! The only thing I have to tell you is that to find sub-commands for each command, type in your command, then type help, for example: calc help Or put in syntax, this: <command> help What's great about GS-DOS is the size. If you saved GS-DOS as a .sb2 file, it would only be 8 KB! You could fit it on a floppy disk! Or better yet, punch cards! The reason why is because for some reason, no matter how big it is, scripts are always 1 KB in size. It's also the sprites too. The images that make up the sprites take up a HUGE amount of space, which in this case, GS-DOS has none. Pictures are usually 20 KB-2 MB! History: 1.00- Started Development 1.01- Added passlock 1.02- Added file 1.03- Added tree 1.04- First public release 1.05- Added clearline (first public update) 1.051- Fixed timer issue (timer starts from previous data) 1.052- Edited instructions page 1.06- Added formatting 1.061- Fixed "Added!" bug 1.07- Features: -Added "Zoop" sound effect whenever command is executed -Added startup -Better timer 1.08- Added chkdsk command
GS-DOS was developed by gavinskycastle. Sounds are part of Scratch. Thanks Microsoft for developing MS-DOS, the OS that inspired GS-DOS! Please, give some ideas for features in the comments! I am lost for another feature! Oh, and please, be nice! :)
