[ Payjay fluff ! ] [ Requested by @EVEEMA9123 ] [ TW/CW: none ] ~~~~{ OJ PoV }~~~~ I set down my pen and look at the heap of paperwork I’ve just completed. Gosh, it sure is a lot. My hand aches terribly. I sigh, rubbing it. It would have been much better if my fellow OSC members were here, but Cabby and Suitcase were out on a suspiciously long ‘walk’. I mumble under my breath and continue staring at the paperwork. Sure, we’re respected, but this job is really difficult. Though it was surprisingly not as bad as being a hotel manager. I get up out of my chair, not before leaving a note meticulously placed at my spot at the table to notify the other two I was going home for the day. After all, it was nearly time to go back home anyways, since it was about 5:00. I grab my bags tiredly, and begin to walk back to Paper and I’s place. ~~~~{ Paper PoV }~~~~ “Phew!” I exclaimed, wiping sweat (or something like that that won’t damage paper) from my face, looking at the meal I’ve prepared. OJ will love it, I’m sure! I take off my apron and set it back in its place. Gee, this might be one of the best two-person meals I’ve ever made! I smile, sitting down primly on the couch as I wait for my wonderful, wonderful fiancé to return from his job. He’s been really busy lately, so I’m more than happy to give him support. I hear the doorknob turn and the door open, and I quickly swivel towards it. “OJ!” I say with a smile. “You’re home a bit early. How was it?” OJ set down his bags and tiredly sit down next to me with a yawn, though his eyes seemed a bit brighter once he was near me. “It was okay, had a ton of paperwork to do alone,” he stated. I noticed the bags under his eyes. “I’m terribly sorry about that,” I say, placing a kiss on his cheek. “Were Suitcase and Cabby out on a ‘walk’ again?” OJ nodded. I give him a little cuddle. “Well, uh- I made dinner!” I gestured towards the meal. “Oh wow honey- this looks great!” OJ exclaimed, as I beamed proudly at the praise. We both sat down at the table, and each talked about our day as we enjoyed the meal.
