Credits at bottom due to length. More than 5 months only to suddenly put something out. Surprised, eh? I've been busy with a mix of mental struggles and engaging in other emerging interests. And I wouldn't say I'm back to ThinkWare, but someday, that day shall come. Until then, you may notice two things: first, the lack of command voice. Suffice to say, those voices were AI, and my perspective on AI has shifted a lot more over time. So as nice as those were... say goodbye to them. Second, the pen text engine in the microgame. Always steered away from those due to heavy costume use, but this is unofficial after all. And in an ideal world, you'd use this microgame in a full project with not many microgames, or one that has a lot of microgames reusing the same text engine. Oh yeah, and this idea I've had in mind since 2023. That's still a running theme. --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] --- [SPOILERS AHEAD] Anyway, here's a run-down of the doings: The object of the microgame is to reach the desired destination by picking the correct elevator to travel up or down, according to the statement at the top of the screen. This done with the left and right arrow keys or A and D keys. One elevator goes up while the other goes down. - Level 1: The arrow signs are clear. The statement mentions "UP" or "DOWN". - Level 2: One arrow sign is broken while the other is flickering. The statement mentions "UP" or "DOWN". - Level 3: The arrow signs are clear. The statement mentions a specific floor number, and the right elevator must be picked according to the floor number sign. If the floor numbers match, an elevator must not be taken. [BEGIN DEVELOPER NOTE] = ASSETS = Besides the commands and stuff, this microgame has 100 costumes (75 from PTE++, 25 from other content) and 1 backdrop. = INTEGRATION = To integrate this into a full project, the following must be done: - IMPORTANT: Update the microgame count. - Import these as normal: the sprite, the backdrops, the music, the broadcast script (into the chain of if-loops), and the practice menu costumes. - Add the microgame ID to the list of keyboard microgames. - If applicable, add it to one of the speed lists. - Import the command, adding a sound if desired. - Import the 2 extra [picksides] scripts in Stage. Really, just Mr. Localtimer and his cousin Musicmuter. - If applicable, update the credits.
