Hello and welcome to the official news broadcast for the United Republic of Aleria. I’m @CarricXilo, the Secretary of State. Today, I will interview the founder of Aleria, @Azure_Apple. @CarricXilo: For the Scratchers reading this who stumble across this project, what exactly is the United Republic of Aleria? @Azure_Apple: The Republic of Aleria is a new, up-and-coming Scratch Nation that is dedicated and devoted to making the best expirience for our citizens. We operate like a real nation, with an elected president and vice president, secretaries who do their jobs, and a parliament. We are looking for people who want to be part of it, so if you want a high ranking job, like Secretary of the Treasury or Defense, head to the studio and sign up! @CarricXilo: Why did you start Aleria? @Azure_Apple: I started Aleria because I saw other nations, like SFR Flysky, and I thought it could be fun to make my own! I was going through Scratch when I saw some other SN’s making Scratch better for their people, but all of the once great ones were now active, so I thought that I could make the next best one. @CarricXilo: What does our name mean, and why did you choose it? @ Azure_Apple: The name is believed to actually believed stem from Old Germanic roots. It combines "all" (meaning "whole" or "complete") and "eri" (meaning "honor" or "respect"), essentially translating to "completely honorable". It can also be associated with a sense of trustworthiness and strength, which is why I chose it. I put the “Republic of” part because I thought it sounded cool XD. @CarricXilo: What can we expect to happen soon? @Azure_Apple: Some things you can expect to see shortly are the presidential election, more information projects from me, and lots of slots filling up fast! I do plan on making some projects breaking down the election, and allowing businesses to be made, like news businesses or art/pfp makers! You will probably also see an alternative flag because I am in the process of making one. : Will anyone be able to post anything in the official studio, or will that be reserved for official things only? : Only official citizens can put their projects into the studio, and it won't just be for official projects. If a non-citizen puts one of their projects in, or a citizen puts an inappropriate, mean, disrespectful, hating, or diminishing Aleria project in, it can and will be removed by either myself, the president, or the vice president. : Anything else you want to say? : There are a couple of things I would like to say, starting with I know you are probably skeptical of this, all this hype and stuff, but trust me, rest assured it will be a great nation at some point. I know it seems random, but it is all very organized and if you join, you will see how fun it really is. I also would like to thank CarricXilo for doing this, it is pretty cool that he had the idea to do this, and to think I saw him in math class earlier today hehe. Lastly, I would like to say that if you want to create something for Aleria, send me a message on Azure_Apple and send me the link to the project. This could be anything from a business idea to a new national anthem to a new job position you might want, like Speaker of the House of President Pro Tempore.
