It’s because gay and trans people are discriminated against I have never heard of a straight person dying, getting harassed, etc, BECAUSE they are straight Meanwhile, tons of trans and gay people do The real difference between gay (+trans) and straight (+cis) is that gay and trans people are discriminated against because they are lgbtq+, meanwhile straight and cisgender people don’t have to deal with that It’s also to tell others that the lgbtq+ community still exists, and shows how we will still fight for rights no matter how long it takes :] Small edit idk lol: “being lgbt+ is a sin!!!!!!” Ok buddy at least we know how to love and accept people and I doubt the god that you believe in that you claim is loving and accepting would even care about people being gay or smth like that because at the end of the day it’s just loving another human being. Also, you don’t have to be supportive of the lgbt+ community, that’s fine, no one is forcing you to, just mind your business and be respectful.
