Alright, this is basically finished. I know the walking up and down animations are a bit weird, but the main code for every direction is complete. All I need to do is implement the idle animation, which is optional. Oh, and I'll need a bit of feedback. Just simple stuff though, such as if I should add the idle animation at all, make it faster, or if I should let someone else animate, lol. If someone can make a better and smooth animation, I wouldn't mind, since my animating ability is pretty chopped. Also, would you like me to code a "Dash" button. And if you would, would you want it to be a new animation or just a speed boost? Because, I can basically do both. Alright, now that the walking mechanics are out of the way, would you like me to begin creating a combat system? I've already made one for my own game: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1047400366/ So, it shouldn't take TOO long. However, you can never know. Oh and don't worry if it looks really choppy in my game, I know exactly how to improve it and make it much cleaner. If you don't have anyone else planned to make the combat system, and you want me to do it, I would also need to know the weapons being used in the battle, plus the enemies and their attacks. Just tell me the story plan about that, and you'll basically be set. Of course, if you don't like my animations, because they're pretty crappy sometimes, then it's fine if someone else animates them and I'll just implement it with my code. After all, I can only really code, lol. I hope to get a response soon, and it has been great helping you. I have very high hopes for your game, Gen Tales.
