PRIDE MONTH FLOWERS!!! im not really used to doing things like this let me know your thoughts.. ok.. im scared [ wow thats so weird suddenly the territories are full of these weird flowers during something called "june" that you've never heard of. anyways gotta take one it's probably nutritious ] /vsilly everyone may claim one (1) flower that can appear as any pride flag :D * * please read full description flags can look any way you feel represents the flag,, a few examples are in the project but they do not have to look like that at all can be specific identities or general pride flags the accessories are account-bound and character limitless, account-bound meaning that if your character dies it can be reused on the next one,, character limitless meaning that even if you have ghosts and a living cat they can all have one simultaneously they can be pridecore thats chill w/ me they can be traded if you want i dont care but if you trade it away you lose it on ALL your characters so beware part 1 so second very similar pride month accessory coming soon you can have as many as you want on your character just like any other accessory but these are canonically colorchanging or something (dawg idk i be making this up as i type) so you can have multiple flags on your character i genuinely dont care be as greedy with your pride flags as you want /silly might change in future years as we get more accessory options but since this year we'll only have two and many people/characters can have more than two pride flags that feels limiting to me they are intended to represent your own characters orientations but i genuinely dont want to make a bunch of rules on these i just want them to be super duper fun, ok? so i wont make any hard rules just do whatevers fun as long as its celebrating pride but again like it should be celebrating pride. dont put a green pride flower on your green cat just cause it looks cool and you just want a green flower and dont care for what the flag actually is. thats weird like why would you... do that... pride flags have meanings past their pretty colors that are important to people and who they are. don't abuse that. TO CLAIM ONE PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS PROJECT: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1327978477/ they are sulphur cirquefoil flowers if you're curious for art purposes they're coo --- DISCLAIMER: - you may not use these as problematic flags obviously - questioning, unlabeled, ally, etc. flags are totally fine - you may not use these for the cisgender or straight flags,, please let me explain below: often times the straight flag and the cisgender flag are used as dog whistles in harmful manners to pride movements. please remember pride is a movement and a protest against discrimination and that cisgender and straight people do not face this same discrimination for their gender or sexuality. we absolutely love you guys and appreciate you but pride is about gaining equal rights to y'all, pride is about not letting discrimination and the hate get to queer people, and being able to celebrate what other people have put down instead of listen to that hatred. after talking to a few other people as well i have decided that it might just be best to leave those flags out due to their nature to be often harmful and be these queerphobic dog whistles that have been used to be somewhat comparable to "white lives matter too" movements that just don't respect pride or what it is at all for my cishet friends and characters you are welcome to use flowers that represent the ALLY flag .. THAT is your flag. if for any reason you aren't an ally.. then you don't get to support pride with the rest of us full stop lol no queerphobia in this space obviously you could also do the general pride flag or something like that also just to prevent even more fights i'm cisgender myself btw. like i dont see the need to be like "omg im cisgender!! dont forget about me!!" in spaces where trans people and other genders are fighting for their own genders to be recognized as real and valid that's not reasonable to me so don't see this as queer people attacking the cishet people like 1) i'm making a space for cishet people again you are more than welcome to use the ally flag 2) like i am. cisgender myself. ok like pls however i would like to acknowledge this is a more controversial issue and i encourage all of you to do your own personal research on it ,, i just think that including the ally flag and welcoming my amazing allies to use that flag while avoiding dog whistles is the best way to keep this community safe from queerphobia while inviting everybody!! to celebrate pride this month :) --- is this too i just want to have fun and celebrate pride during pride month i had this idea 12 hours ago btw thats why this is being shared on the third
