Ankylosaurus Class α A. chelonyterra, or the Masrani Ankylosaurus, is the most common species of ankylosaurid alive today by far, Minmi, Euoplocephalus, Antarctopelta, and Polacanthus don't even come close. Ankylosaurs can be found in almost any environment that has fruit or shrubs for most of the year, which is due to their high intelligence! They can remember where specific fruiting plants are for years, and will frequently return to them for food. Ankylosaurs are social animals, and will warn one another of threats by slapping their tails against the ground, which also serves as a warning to predators. In fact, I actually decided to conduct some research! I recorded the sound of an ankylosaurus slapping it's tail, and I played it when I was near predators. Dilophosaurus Sightings: 6 Response: When I played the recording, they scattered and produced whimpering noises. Velociraptor Sightings: 1 Response: Made the caution noise to one another and continued on with their walk, then they smelled me and I had to take off in the jeep :( Allosaurus Sightings: 2 Response: Became more cautious, but otherwise did nothing. Ceratosaurus Sightings: 4 Response: When alone, they turned around and left the area, but when in groups, they turn towards the source of the noise. I should probably not exit the jeep next time :/ Therizinosaurus Sightings: 1 Response: Starting slashing the crap out of a nearby tree. He is blind, to be fair... Ankylosaurs come in a wide variety of colors, including black, brown, black-blue, blue, teal, forest green, red, maroon, and purple. I also think there's an older variant of ankylosaurus, but I can't prove it since i've never actually seen one. However, I do know that one individual, a crimson male who I've been told is named "Blender", in biosyn valley is likely a hybrid between a masrani anky and this older anky variant, although I haven't been able to prove this. Levi thinks it's hogwash because Ankylosaurus wasn't in ingen's list, but I mean, neither was spinosaurus! Well, that one is usually explained as an early masrani experiment, so I don't know.
