I miss my goat man A lot of people think Kafka's last words were "kill me or you are a murderer" but that's not quite right what's closer to the truth (again not entirely confirmed) was that his friend Robert Klopstock went to go clean a syringe (I'm under the impression he was helping the nurses out despite being in medical school at the time) and Kafka asked him not to leave mind at this point he couldn't eat let alone talk and Klopstock assured him that he wouldn't and Kafka responded "but I am leaving. It makes me so sad oh my god he died unable to speak or eat from the pain because his throat was so ulcerated. And he would oft write short letters to the people around him. He spent the last few days before his death editing A Hunger Artist. He also asked Max Brod snd Dora Dimant to burn all his works which is like the most obvious Kafka fact. Dora said she burnt some of Kafka's works while he was on his deathbed just so he could see and be relieved by it and she intended to do more however brod stepped in and he tried to publish most of Kafka's works and Dora held onto some too. However in 1933 the Gestapo confiscated I think around 20 of his notebooks and 35 of his letters during a raid because Dora Diamant's husband Ludwig Lask was a part of an underground communist movement. This fact INFURIATES me you do not understand everytime I start thinking of it I genuinely tweak out I hope they weren't destroyed so so badly. There is an active search from them because they were informed they might have been taken east but it is even more likely they were just destroyed in Military transport. Anyways I digress, Kafka was buried on the 11th of June 1924 at around 4pm. Hermann Kafka was seemingly upset at Dora's distress at the funeral he sucks so bad oh my god. He was buried in New Jewish Cemetery in Prague with his Mother and Father who both outlived him. There is also a memorial to his sisters on the grave since their remains were lost in the holocaust.
Kafka resurrection 2026 please 102 years is far too long.
