Alana alestar chapter one: The letter Alana Alestar was one of four siblings: Teresa (the oldest at 16), Riley (14), Tyler (13), and, of course, Alana at 11. She knew that she would recive a letter from hogwarts (since her whole family had) but she didn't know what to expect. Firstly, Teresa was in gryffindor, Riley was in slytherin, and Tyler was in hufflepuff. so what house would Alana be in? This greatly confused Alana because weren't siblings supposed to be in the same house? The day the letter came Alana was lounging on the old and scratched couch when she felt a swift wid blowing past her ear. Confused and discruntled, Alana slowly stood up, the book she was reading slipping out of her hand as she made her way to the next room where she heard hooting. The room was deserted apart from a Tawny owl who was perched comftorably in the middle of the room. "Fern..?" It was Alana's own owl Fern! The small owl was clutching something in his beak. Alana looked at it, raising an eyebrow. "You do know that people usually tie letters to your foo-" she stopped. In Fern's beak was the expected yet dreaded hogwarts letter. Alana had been worring and worring about the hogwarts letter so much that it had triggered her diagnosed anxiety. What if it doesn't come? what if it does come but it's telling her that she's a squib? what if she gets rejected when she gets to hogwarts? With trembling fingers, Alana reached out to the envolope and clasped it open. inside was the letter, scrawled on a peice of parchment. It read: Dear Alana Alestar, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. please find enclosed a list of all nessceseary books and equipment. term begins on september 1st. Yours sincerley, Mira mcgonagol Headmistress of hogwarts Alana nearly cried. SHE GOT IN!!!!! she hugged Fern, fed him, and rushed upstairs to find her family. end of chapter one...
