Apparently there was a lot of backlash on one of the rules, sorry for the inconvenience, here's the updated version of the same rule You shall be allowed to use shades of the flag colors, just do not create new hues, but the exact hue of the flag must be shown at the start. Here "creating new hues" shall refer to using too much brightness/darkness for separation (Don't make red to pink, but you can use dark red, for example) I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused (BTW, you may also edit or delete your existing entry, just submit before deadline) Add the oil to the cooking pan, or you're cooked - @-NitroDZN- NOTES: Extended to June 8 due to my own time constraints, as well as those of others. Each round has strict design rules, and players submit their intro based on those rules. After judgement, 1/4th of the competition will be eliminated until a winner is found. I know you're as excited as I am to meet your first challenge, so here it is. __________________________________________ CHALLENGE #1 In this round, you will create an intro based on a country flag of your choice from the provided pool: Democratic Republic of the Congo (2/2) - -ElasticArtz- Marshall islands (2/2) - , Guyana (2/2) - , Kiribati (2/2) - , Bosnia (2/3) - , Antigua and Barbuda (3/3) - , , Czechia (3/3) - , , Vanuatu (1/3) - You also get an extra wildcard, for which you get 3 extra points for finishing in the top half of the table You get 7 more if you reach the top 4. Introducing: Papua New Guinea (3/3) (Extra slots will be available if required) __________________________________________ SCORING Your entries shall be judged according to the following criteria - Adherence to the theme (--/10) - Creativity (--/30) - Motion (--/30) - Design (--/30) ___________________________________________ RULES Entries must be 75% by you Entries must be made on Scratch, no external software allowed. All entries must be individual entries Your intro must start with the flag fully visible or form the flag within the first second of the intro commencing Entries must showcase ongoing interaction with multiple elements All colors of the flag must be visible at all times All elements of the flag must play a significant part in the intro. You may (and probably should) cut portions of the flag. You may not start your intro before choosing your flag from the pool (You may choose from the wildcard, but you must choose from the pool as well) You may not switch the flag after choosing.(unless it's the wildcard) ___________________________________________ DEADLINE All entries must be submitted before May 8 Entries after the deadline will not be accepted.
