"No one really cares if you have bad grammar. No one cares if you don't use periods and the like. Seriously. Maybe their keyboard doesn't work, or you just want people with balanced characters and no mary-sues." Actually, people do care. It's way more fun to rp with someone who can tell a good story with balanced characters and readable sentences. Would you rather rp with someone who rps like this: snowy run over too aloe and hits her. she dye and snowy smile. she new he culd defeet anyone who tried to fiht her! or someone who types like this: Koda saunters over to the table with a smirk on his face. "Well looky here. William and Ash. Hiding out in the city." The second one right? "So what is that stupid, dumb, stinking, moons cursed rule for? Is it to keep away new scratchers who you think are inferior? Remember that YOU were once a new scratcher." New doesn't mean that they have bad rping skills. it just means they're new. We don't think they're inferior. We were new scratchers before, yes. We didn't always have good grammar and writing skills. We got better with practice, and so can anyone else. That leads me to another point. A lot of people in the comments are saying that in order to become an experienced rper you need to rp. And they're right! But you don't have to act bitter about it. There are tons of rps that are open to everyone. You can join those and practice all you want. All in all, we do this because we want to rp with people on our own skill level, and besides, there are many, many rps you can join that you can have just as much fun with. Anyway, it's up to the owner of the rp to decide how experienced people have to join their rp. They can decide who can join and who can't. It's not up to you. People can run their rps the way they want. So how about people stop complaining and practice in other rps. Once you improve you can always try again. Good bye.
