Yay! More stories! This time its canon. Parasite limped forward as fast as three legs could take him. His fourth limb dragged uselessly on the ground. It was twisted at an odd angle and it burned with a searing pain. It was what kept him awake and going. He could collapse at any time, but he had to keep moving. "I can't die. Not now." He thought. The thought repeated in his mind until another thought entered his mind. "Where did it all start?" He remembered the first time he saw the stray Cancarti. His heart pounded in his chest. He had to talk to her. But would an Infectian as strong and intimidating as a Cancarti talk to an interbreed? He swallowed his fear and he hesitantly crept towards the Cancarti. "H-Hello." He tried to say, but it came out as a squeak. "Sorry what was that?" The Cancarti turned her head to look at him. He swallowed nervously. "H-Hi.. I'm.." He paused. He didn't have a name. His group threw him out without giving him a name. "Parasite." He blurted out. He shrunk down in embarrassment. "Nice to meet you, Parasite." She giggled. Parasite looked up at her. She was smiling. Parasite hurried back to the little makeshift den in the willow trees with a ball of soaking moss clamped tight in his jaws. He entered the den and he dropped the moss. "I'm back!" He said, breathlessly. He heard no heavy breathing or shriek of agony. It was over. His mate was laying down with a small pup beside her. He crept towards the two, his rabbit-like ears perking happily. "She's beautiful.." Parasite whispered to his mate, nuzzling her cheek lovingly. She closed her eyes and she rested her head on her paws, exhausted. Parasite laid down next to her, gently wrapping his tail and body around his sleeping mate and newborn child. At that moment, he was the happiest Infectian alive. Nothing could change that. "Don't leave me!" He screamed after his mate as she ran into the burning forest. He hurried after her, but suddenly a large burning tree crashed down in front of him, blocking his path. The fire licked the air, threatening to singe his fur. He looked for many other ways to get to her, but to no avail. He had to escape the forest, he had to leave. He coughed as he ran back the way he came. His paws burned as they landed on small burning leafs. His eyes were stinging as smoke blurred his vision. Soon, be broke free and he breathed in the fresh air as rain pelted down onto the still burning fire. When the fire calmed down, he slowly made his way towards the burnt willow trees. He called out for his mate and child. No answer. He soon found his mate and child, however. He ran up to them and he nuzzled them both. "Wake up! The fire is over!" He said repeatedly to the two, motionless Infectians. The hours passed and he continued to shake them and plead with them to get up. Soon, he lost all hope. They were both dead. He tilted his head back in an agonizing wail. Afterwards, he slowly stumbled away. He felt empty, lifeless, dead. He lost everything. His mate, his child, his home... Everything. Happy yipping jolted him awake. What was that revolting sound? He shakily stood and he stretched, parting his jaws to let out a yawn. He made his way through the bushes towards the source of the sound. Soon he found it. A happy wolf family playing together. He watched this for a while, an odd feeling rising in his stomach. How could they be happy and not him? How could they all be a family and not him? They didn't know his pain and they needed to learn it. Everybody did. He waited until the father came close. He heard him say something about getting food and that was the perfect opportunity. He waited until the wolf got close, then he pounced. He lunged at the wolf and he clamped his jaws around his exposed neck. The wolf let out a quick yelp and he struggled to get free of the Infectian's grip. Within moments, he stopped struggling. Parasite dropped him and he stared down at him as he twisted and writhed. The wolf slowly stood up. He had ripped the black tuft of fur off of his head and his eyes were dead black with the only color being a now deep red pupil. He had won the battle, and he will win the war. He vowed, from that day forward, to drive every creature with a single ounce of love in their heart to pure "Insanity..." Parasite growled. "I shall call you Insanity. You, Insanity, are my puppet." He continued. He will make everyone suffer.. He walked proudly through a large clearing, Insanity following him like a pet. He was winning the war. He had everything, complete control over a killing machine, the power to create more, and absolutely no enemies that are alive. He turned to face his puppet. "Insanity, I'm proud of you." He said. "You have done all of my dirty work for me." He continued. He looked Insanity in the eyes, and behind the cold, blank gaze of a killer, he could see the longing to be free from his clutches. Parasite chuckled. "I won't be freeing you any time soon, so get used to it, puppet." He
snarled. Insanity didn't seemed phased by this. His ears perked as a rustle in the bushes sounded from just beyond the clearing. "Insanity. If something jumps out at us, attack it." He commanded. Insanity turned towards the sound and just as a grey wolf lunged at him, Parasite made a run for it. "It all comes down to this, Parasite." The wolf snarled, two large, blue wings emerging from her back. Parasite was surprised at how a wolf could just MAKE wings appear. "She has a strange power." He reminded himself. "And all you have to do it bite her, that's it." He got into a defensive pose, waiting for her to strike. The wolf charged at him, but Parasite was fast. He ducked down and went for her throat. He clamped his jaws around her neck and he bit down as hard as possible. The wolf howled in agony and she tried to get him off. When she went limp, he let go of her. She writhed like Insanity did before, but this time she looked to be in even more pain. "Kenda. I'll call you Kenda." He said. He spat on the dead body of what was once Kenda. "Useless rat. I thought you could help me but you just DIED." He snarled and he kicked sand on the wet and ragged corpse. He stalked away. Indeed, he had won the war, but that wasn't enough, he needed more to satisfy his hunger for power. "And now here I am." He thought as he kept on limping away from his pursuer. The pitch black wolf warped closer with each passing step. This wasn't any normal wolf, no. It was more like a ghost than anything. Parasite's broken leg suddenly got caught on a protruding root from a nearby tree. "Great Alamaro no..." He whispered in horror as the black wolf stood over him. The places where his eyes would have been stared deep into Parasite's eyes. "P-Please... Give me mercy.." The Infectian pleaded, tears shimmering in his eyes. The edges of the ghosts white mouth curved down into a frown. He wasn't going to give him any type of mercy. He screeched loudly and bit down on Parasite's neck with a sickening crunch... Parasite opened his eyes to find someone standing over him. "You're awake!" a familiar voice cheered and nuzzled his cheek. He recognized this voice as the one belonging to his mate. He stood, opening his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. "Oh dear, I'm afraid our reunion will be cut short. You do not belong here with us..." She sighed, pressing her muzzle to his. "But why am I here if I don't belong?" Parasite asked. "Well, everyone gets a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones and give final condolences" His mate responded. Parasite then felt something press against his leg and he looked down to find his daughter. He touched his nose to her forehead. "Goodbye, love." His mate whispered as Parasite fell back into darkness. He once again opened his eyes to find himself in a dark cavern of some sort. It was extremely hot and he felt like his fur was on fire. "Oh my. Looks like we have a new one!" A wolf stepped into the cavern, his four eyes gleaming. "Where am I?!" Parasite shrieked and he stepped away. "Where are my manners? I am Ookami... And you are in the underworld!" He introduced himself. He had heard of Ookami. He was the ruler of the underworld who betrayed Alamaro and the wolf gods with someone named Shinigama. "Now. You're one of the first Infectians we have gotten in a while so.. This will be fun." He chuckled darkly, raising his paw above his head. Parasite tried to duck away from the paw coming crashing down onto his head, but he was too late. Ookami brought him down to the ground and pinned him there by his throat. "Hold still. This will only hurt a bit!" ~So this took ages to write. And it skips a lot for a reason! Its like memories and such. So, here is a little insight on why Pari did what he did and what happened after his death. Since everyone loves Pari (okay maybe not everyone) I decided to do this. I might do the next story time about my Desolation AU. My mom recently got obsessed with the Walking Dead and after watching the last few episodes of the 2nd season with her (I may watch even more, im super interested) I got some ideas. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this story time. See you on the next project!~ ~ Speaking of the Walking Dead. I started watching it with her on about the 8th or 9th episode of the 2nd season and we haven't watched the season finale as of right now.~
