This is basically like any other art dump except instead of any drawings it’s just words. Just. So many words. Specifically for school purposes. So uh yeah enjoy!!! 1: this was the first poem and there were no requirements of what rhyme scheme or whatever!! We had just gotten Covid again so that’s what this is about, I’m pretty proud of it. 2: ABAB rhyme scheme. My mom was like “why is all your poetry sad… are you okay……” and like I get it but so far I’d written two poems let me write about sad people 3: XAXA rhyme scheme. This was written on my cat Loki’s birthday for him 4: AABB rhyme scheme. This one feels pretty self explanatory but uh yeah I like it. 5: AAAA rhyme scheme, which as you may have guessed by reading, is called a monorhyme. IT WAS SO HARD Y’ALL it was fun though so it’s okay 6: XAXA again I don’t remember why this was different. this is about Agatha All Along though I do remember that 7: ABBA rhyme scheme. I hate ABBA rhyme scheme tbh it just doesn’t sound right. Other than that I like this kinda though 8: this one I got to choose from the past few’s rhyme schemes. I actually don’t like this one though tbh 9: clerihew. Do you Understand how hard it is to be given assignment that’s like “be funny” when the main thing you do with poetry and song writing is Be Sad. So these took so long but then I remembered I’d just watched No Rolls Barred play Cheese Thief and it was funny so I wrote about that 10: diamante. I like diamantes because there was a character from a show who was a lesbian knight in love with another lesbian knight who got sent to another world and joined a crew of people from throughout time who had ended up in this world and stuff and her last name was Diamante so they make me think of her but I also hate diamantes because writing them is hard and not fun 11: cinquain. I don’t really have a lot to say about this but it’s nice I think 12: acrostic. I don’t like acrostics and I don’t really like this, partially just because it’s an acrostic. “Why don’t you like acrostics” idk man I don’t like them 13: concrete. Concretes are so hard because making shapes is ANNOYING and DIFFICULT but also I love that once you make the shape you just ramble because rambling is peak 14: kenning. I don’t like kennings either like how am I supposed to describe something like this. Anyway this is about cats if you couldn’t tell 15: free choice out of past few. can’t believe I almost made myself go through that again cheese thief clerihew pLEASE 16: haiku. I had character development during this I used to prefer writing large blocks of rambling separated into random lines and now I really would rather have it rhyme 17: tanka. This was kinda hard but I like it 18: limerick. I love limerick rhyme schemes but I had to be closer to how they were described in the curriculum and as I previously mentioned I’m Not Funny I’m Sad. But hey I tried. 19: sonnet. I enjoyed writing this a bunch and I’m actually fond of it!!!!!!! anyway I wonder this is about how could anyone ever guess it’s impossible to tell 20: triolet. Kinda hard but not too much if you don’t overthink it. I’m me so I overthought it. 21: free choice of last few. I chose sonnet because that’s the one I enjoyed. It is very much so connected to the previous sonnet. 22: alphabet poem. Crime themed. I hate alphabet poems they’re even worse than acrostics in every way 23: alliteration poem. I don’t get what this exists for 24: tongue twister. Like an alliteration poem but better because it has purpose 25: riddle. I hate writing riddles so very very much. The answer is a dream 26: free choice out of past few. I chose tongue twister and did much better I was the only one who could recite it 27: roses are red. I’ve realized roses are red poems are actually evil. I don’t think any of these actually qualify according to the rules I saw but oh well. One poem was censored for safety and stuff but yeah. I Lied When I Said I’m Not Funny I Guess 28: forgive me. I love the original poem I don’t like this. It’s about feeding my cats 30: nursery rhyme. The very prompt itself upset me what am I meant to do here 31: parody. “Don’t do anything like a pop song nonono do a nursery rhyme or a kids song or famous song” no. New by Ben Platt. Because I do not care. 32: at the top is the prompt from my mom. I chose a PANTOUM!!! Which I did have to look up the name of while writing this… but like literally as soon as I started doing the poetry I was like “are we doing the repeating poems :000” and we WEREN’T and I was DISAPPOINTED but then for this I got to do one and it was fun. “Um actually this isn’t a pantoum because you didn’t do this—“ okay great I literally do not care. Anyway yeah that’s everything. I hope you enjoyed reading it!
