Hi Guys, its Sil here!! Im a pretty experienced writer, but i am always learning new things. So here are some pretty awesome tips that i have learned through my many years of writing. Look them over, use a few, and the quality of your writing will skyrocket!! There are five main things to think about when writing from a characters pov: -Perspective: What are this characters thoughts about the current situation? -Personality: How does the character view things? Like or Dislike? -Priorities: What do they want right in the moment? -Predisposition: How does the character feel coming into a situation? -Pandora's box: This just means, what are they hiding? What do they not want people to know? They will usually always be thinking about this thing. Now here are some good tips for writing in general! -let things around the character remind them of their background so they can slowly reveal it, don't just trauma dump hehe -Show don't Tell- show how people react to things, don't just have the narrator say everything outright -Don't leave the characters to narrate to much -For fight scenes, time it so it takes as long to read as it does to watch the fight happen. You want fights to feel very realistic, so don't spend two whole minutes on one punch XD And that's if for today! Lmk if they helped you at all <3 -Sil
