Test log for The Mortal Snail. Test log: Scp-10040 put into Scp-729-j's containment chamber. Upon entering, Scp-10040 stared directly at Scp-729-j for three whole seconds, and then immediately ignored it and opened a wormhole, where after exactly one minute another rift opened, and then Scp-10040 came back, holding a big, pitch black, ten-sectioned limb-like object from some sort of unknown creature or anomaly. Scanners used to detect the material in object were identified as ten different substances labeled "unknown substance". Upon re-entering Scp-729-j's containment chamber, Scp-10040 moved towards Scp-729-j, but then stopped when it realized there were still observers, where it then used a rift to get to the researchers and give them the object, then rifted back into the containment chamber and then obviously faked being scared of Scp-729-j. Testing ended here, and attempts to find what dimension the object Scp-10040 brought back came from have so far failed.
